As Manager, Analytics Strategy for Blast Analytics, Brad specializes in designing solutions centered around clients’ most important business questions. He won’t rest until you have the right data collected in the right way to enable effective analysis and reporting. Once your customized data is flowing into the reports, Brad will turn that data into dashboards and visualizations that unleash insights to help you take action and grow your business.


Brad has more than 5 years of experience guiding clients in implementing and reporting with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Firebase, and Mixpanel across various industries such as retail, automotive, travel, and healthcare. He’s one of Blast’s leading experts in Tealium AudienceStream Customer Data Platform (CDP), and he holds several industry certificates in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Tealium AudienceStream

Brad a BA in Public Relations at BYU Idaho, where he discovered his love for digital analytics. Over the course of his education, he was given the opportunity to construct his own minor to allow him to study his passion, picking and choosing from subjects such as computer science, statistics, web development, and business development.

He then became BYU Idaho’s first Web Analyst and helped design the day-to-day aspects of that job — a position that has grown many times over and is still producing quality analysts to this day. He also continues to make his mark by mentoring students from BYU Idaho.

A cool part of my job is the constant variety. I love taking on new challenges and solving interesting problems. I get to work not only with all kinds of analytics tools, but also all kinds of customers and verticals. Every day brings something new.

I joined Blast…

Because I could tell it was a place that had the culture I needed to thrive. Blast is a place where all of my teammates are constantly helping one another succeed and become the best versions of themselves. It’s a place that allows me to grow wide and learn a variety of skills, and then grow tall by specializing in them.

A cool part of my job is…

My  “philosophy” is…

“Start with the Why.” With every tracking decision and report I create, I should be able to track it back directly to my clients’ most important business questions and the reason they exist. I don’t believe in “track everything” approaches. I believe your analysis is only as good as the data you put into it, so my most important goal is always to make sure we have data integrity and that the data we are capturing provides us value.

It’s not on my resume, but…

I’m a HUGE fan of my hometown Seattle Seahawks!

One of my first jobs was…

A sandwich artist at Subway. I worked at the same restaurant all through high school, and it took years to finally not smell like Subway anymore.

The most interesting place I’ve traveled is…

João Pessoa, Brazil. I lived in Brazil for two years and fell in love with the people and culture. I traveled all over the northeastern tip of Brazil, but my favorite city I stayed in was Lucena, Paraíba.

My hobbies include…

Watching whatever Seattle sports team is currently playing. I also try to go to as many concerts in the small Seattle venues as possible.
