New hires strengthen company’s analytics consulting expertise while expanding geographic footprint.
ROCKLIN, CA (May 19, 2017) — Blast Analytics & Marketing continues to expand its analytics consulting expertise and reach, recently hiring two new teammates with diverse industry experience.
Halee Kotara, Senior Analytics Consultant (Dallas, Texas)
In March, Halee Kotara was hired as senior analytics consultant. With more than 10 years of hands-on analytics experience working with major brands such as Dell, Ford, Microsoft, Nokia, and Sephora, Kotara is an expert implementing and using both Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
Prior to joining Blast, Kotara was senior digital analytics consultant at EY Society, where she helped guide multiple enterprise clients in digital analytics implementation and best practices. Before that, she was web analytics manager for Interstate Batteries and digital analytics strategist for Quru.
Kotara holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and master’s graduate diploma from Charles Sturt University. She is also an adjunct instructor of conversion optimization at Southern Methodist University, holds several industry certifications (including Adobe Analytics and Tealium Tag Management), and is actively involved in the Dallas Chapter of the Digital Analytics Association.
Furthermore, Kotara is based in the Blast’s newest location, Dallas, Texas, demonstrating the company’s commitment to deliver its leading analytics and digital marketing consulting services in key geographic markets.
Mai Alowaish, Analytics Consultant (Akron, Ohio)
In April, Blast also hired Mai Alowaish as analytics consultant. She has nearly 15 years experience in web, IT, and analytics consulting — including project management and leadership — for various companies.
Most recently, Alowaish was digital analytics and optimization lead for Beaconfire RED, where her projects spanned Google Analytics technical implementations, multi-channel campaign strategy, conversion optimization, reporting, and more. Prior to that, she was online channels project manager for Wataniya Airways.
Alowaish earned a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and master’s degree from Northwestern University, where she completed thesis research on “The Impact of Big Data and Analytics on Non-Profit Fundraising and Donor Retention Programs.” She also holds several industry certifications, including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Project Management Professional. In addition to speaking on web analytics on multiple occasions, Alowaish is co-author of the publication “Search Engine Marketing Analytics with Hadoop Ecosystem.”
