As Analytics Strategist at Blast Analytics, Trent helps clients answer key business questions by creating strategies and generating reports for clients through Google Analytics and other reporting tools.

While attending college, Trent worked in social media marketing. During this time, he discovered his passion for developing reports and creating strategies from data collected through ad campaigns. This sparked his curiosity to learn more about the analytics industry and pursue a related career.

Trent earned his BA in Marketing from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

I get to do something different and challenging every day. There’s no predicting what each day will bring, and you never get bored with new questions and requests from clients.

We all have to have an open mind towards serving and helping others. Consulting relies on helping other people and I truly believe that success is built by capitalizing on opportunities to help others. If we don’t have an open mind of service, we’ll fail.

I am a huge sports nut. I will talk and watch basketball, baseball, football…you name it, for hours. I am also a huge techy. I follow everything in the tech industry and always want the latest and greatest technology.

One of my first jobs was…

Teaching piano lessons. I have played the piano since I was in Kindergarten and took lessons for 13 years.

The most interesting place I’ve traveled is…

Not necessarily traveling, but when I was young, my family and I lived in South Africa. While there, we had many opportunities to travel throughout southern Africa as well as some European countries.

My hobbies include…

Anything to do with music, sports, and being outside. I love to hike and explore everything this earth has to offer us.
