Senior People Experience (PX) Business Partner

As Senior People Experience (PX) Business Partner at Blast Analytics, Lisa provides full-cycle HR support for our team, helping to build a strong talent pipeline by sharing Blast’s story and engaging with people who have a passion for what we do.

Lisa, who joined Blast in 2020, is focused on enhancing the company’s current HR practices and helping to achieve growth objectives. She also is responsible for Blast’s evolving internship program. Prior to joining Blast, Lisa worked in the hospitality industry focusing on talent acquisition.

Lisa earned a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Management from Sonoma State University. She’s also recently completing her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Getting to be the first face our candidates meet during their initial introductory interviews. I love welcoming new teammates and creating a unique personal recruitment/onboarding experience for them.

It’s not on my resume, but…

In college, I interned at Walt Disney World and drove the Wildlife Express Train at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I actually met my husband during this time, who also worked at this attraction.

I am an avid animal lover with four cats and a dog.

I could eat pizza everyday… and yes, I do think pineapple belongs on pizza.

One of my first jobs was…

In high school, I worked at a little girls birthday party boutique called “Girlfriendz.” I hosted 3-4 birthday parties a day ranging from themes like Rockstar, Princess, or Spa day.

The most interesting place I’ve traveled is…

For a recruiting trip to hire international students, I had the opportunity to travel to Serbia, Bulgaria, and Montenegro. They are places I never would have visited on my own, and I was absolutely blown away by their culture and beauty.

I have also been to Israel, which was an amazing experience. One aspect of the trip was a night walk through the desert. I had never felt so small yet interconnected to the world before that moment of silence under the stars.

My hobbies include…

In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors — hiking, camping, gardening. A big hobby is maintaining my avid houseplant collection. I actually have more than 100 house plants! I also enjoy reading, taking my dog on walks, drinking local craft beer, wine tasting, finding projects around the house to talk my husband into helping me with, traveling, and exploring new things.
