Leading analytics and marketing consulting company is participating at Tealium user conference in three locations.

ROCKLIN, CA (April 10, 2017) — Blast Analytics & Marketing is proud to sponsor Digital Velocity 2017, the flagship event for leading tag management company Tealium, in three locations this year:

Gaining a 360-Degree View

At Digital Velocity New York City, Aimee Bos (Director, Analytics Strategy at Blast) will lead a roundtable session titled Gaining a 360-Degree View, where tag management experts will discuss the value of a 360-degree view of the customer, share the process and data sources needed to create one, and discuss how to use it to enhance the customer’s digital experience.

“The way consumers shop has dramatically changed, requiring brands to find a new way to meet and surpass their evolving expectations,” Bos said. “A 360-degree view of the customer is an integrated approach that gathers consumer data from multiple online and offline touchpoints, allowing marketers to deliver next-generation experiences, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.”

Blast and Tealium: Tag Management Consulting in Action

Recently, Blast partnered with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on — the flagship site for the Affordable Care Act — to strengthen the privacy and information-sharing tools available to its customers. Although met privacy standards, it sought to provide customers with an extra layer of security beyond Do Not Track (DNT).

Blast recommended migrating all the site’s tags from Google Tag Manager to the Tealium iQ tag management solution, giving users control over what tracking and data collection takes place during their visits. Leveraging Tealium iQ capabilities and a Tealium Privacy Extension option, a new Privacy Manager was built and implemented across both the English and Spanish sites.

Through its partnership with Blast and implementation of Tealium technology, became the first U.S. government site to implement an extra layer of security and was able to improve privacy across the site, including a new privacy policy, easy privacy controls for users, and a commitment to honoring the DNT browser setting.
